Producing real food the right way while delivering a true farm experience.
PM Family Farms is a u-pick orchard in Ludington, Michigan. From July through October, we invite you to come walk the orchard, pick your own fruit, and enjoy a real day on the farm.

We believe in growing real food the right way. Good soil. Smart practices. Real food. And a place where families can come out, breathe a little deeper, and enjoy what farm life is all about.
About the Owners
Maxwell TeBos and his family are the owners of PM Family Farms. Max has a degree in agribusiness and agronomy and has spent his entire life farming. His experience ranges from greenhouses and specialty crops to crop scouting and hydroponics, giving him a deep appreciation for both the science and heart behind farming.
The TeBos family is incredibly excited for this fruit season and grateful for the opportunity to grow and share it with their community.

HISTORY OF THE FARM
Before PM Family Farms, this farm was called
Red and Carole Christofferson purchased the farm in 1967 from Willard and Alice Carr who previously purchased it from ‘Old Joe and Mary’ Gamertsfelder. At the time, the orchard was mainly tart cherries and apples. Over the years, they slowly added more varieties and expanded what the farm could offer.
It wasn’t until around 1987 that the farm opened as a u-pick orchard, inviting families to come experience the fruit right from the trees.

We are grateful to carry on the legacy they built!
Christofferson Farms.

“I loved the independence and watching the trees grow year after year. Seeing the fruit develop each season...you never really get tired of that.”

“When I retired from teaching, I said we’re just going to have some fun…and that’s just what we did!”
